Blobs are greenish or reddish translucent globs that move slowly and leave bubbles of slime like snails. They collect

items as they move across them--coins, apples, potions, and beer--and will drop these items when they are killed. Red blobs have extremely high hit points, so use of a ranged weapon with them is highly recommended.
Attack[]
Blobs move very slowly but can do considerable damage if they touch you. While green blobs in the newest version (beta orc at the time of this writing) are relatively easy to kill, red blobs have extremely high hit points. Using a ranged weapon and skirting around them is highly recommended.
